At Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas, individuals fighting drug or alcohol addiction join a faith-based rehabilitation program that is all inclusive. Tuition and admission to the program is free, and, while enrolled, residents become students in one of the vocational programs to learn marketable job skills. Vocational tracks include mechanic, food service management, woodworking and welding skills, driver safety training, and training in clerical and administrative work. In addition, students attend counseling and anger management courses, along with relapse prevention techniques to help with sober living once they re-enter mainstream society.
